“Where have you been?!”

Occasionally, life comes down the freeway like a semitruck barreling towards you in the wrong lane…in your lane.

In the last 90-ish days, I’ve made three trips from Ohio to Florida and back, dealt with the loss of a family member and other loved ones, the loss of my “primary job,” putting my bestest-buddy Buster down, and then my wedding. It’s been difficult…time consuming…sad…then it was amazing.

Oh, I’m sorry. You didn’t expect talk about “real life” coming from a career mentor? You should. Real life is where we all exist and anyone who tries to paint a picture for you of nothing but sunshine and roses following their services (or leadership in general) is not being “real life” with you.
