Difficult Conversations

I absolutely love when my every-day life brings me topics that are relevant to my professional life! In the last two weeks, both family and friends have had subjects arise in both their personal and professional lives that fit this topic.
There are so many meaningful reasons to have what may be perceived as a difficult conversation with your manager. These reasons are innumerable, but some of the most common professional reasons are:
· Your schedule performance review is coming soon.
· You need clearer definition surrounding the expectations of your role.
· You have a suggestion to improve efficiency.
· You feel you deserve a raise.
· You are having a difficult time interacting with a coworker.
The above list could quite literally go on and on and on and on and on…but these are the most common conversations which have been brought to me in my leadership.
